I do spend money of the game. If I enjoy, I will gladly support it.
 
I have played awhile and in the top 20 but only by fame....but in pvp....I might be in the top 2000.

Maybe a little sidetracked, but for the lower level players...having rare armor is easy, it is cheap and you should have no problems in hard and the occasional problem in NM (basing this off of comments concering PVE). It wont be long at all and you will have higher level troops and can put them in epic or GL but not sure why anyone really needs it except to face against other epic/gl players in pvp.
 
Oh, last comment about waiting times...I have two armies which most people tend to use. While one fights, the other heals. For instance, I can usually go through 10-11 battles in about 30-40 minutes in the morning before work. I play on hard, I get about 85-95 cp/battle. So, not sure why people have the long wait times except if they NM or pvp. maybe off the subject but "waiting time" has never been an issue.

i do the same, fight in hard instead of nm for the quick sucession of battles with little healing times... i do it naked actually....

Your argument will never make sense to me, because in my mind there is no customers in this game. To me, there are players and some of us are able to support the devs and the game with real life money. And there is a big difference between buying rights and supporting a project.

Wow Net that second paragraph was great. Really describes a lot of what I think about people who pay which I have paid myself. But besides that it's not the complaining that Aella does that bothers me. Because let's face it she may be right. I just hope she gives it a try.

Nathor: Interesting, I only have naked assault troops....have not tried naked cav in a very long time....I wonder how much that will effect the resource gain, cp gain :)Thanks, may have to try it - rare are cheap to create and to repair but if the cp gain is still close and if the resource gain is still close might be worth it.
 
Still hesitant on the pvp (I only have cav and assault troops - got rid of LI, HI and art) - prefer speed/mobility and pvp played were all defensive but we will see. Probably a different topic...but wanted to reply. Thanks.

It is a ridiculous notion to believe that players the have spent hard earned money to acquire items in the past few week are not being shafted by the new update. If I would have known that equipping the godlikes I have acquired through chest would be impossible I would not have sspent the cash I did on gems. I hope the u will honor ant requests for refunds to members who are unable to use what they have paid for. It seems to me like a classic bait and switch. Just because newer members are advancing faster than you'd like is not a reason to penalize their contributions. I demand a refund of all cash I have spent for gems if I cannot use ever item I have paid for.

Majority forum opinion via posting is very rarely an accurate way of judging the views of the entire player base. This is the case in almost every game.

Usually only the most dedicated of players or those really intent on voicing their opinion will get involved the in forums.

It makes perfect sense that most of the active posters on this forum would be high tier\ranked players, and that is exactly what we are seeing. After all, they are the ones that have been here from early on.

While there is no guarantee that the majority of players would agree with Aella, it seems incredibly likely that the stance and views she has on this topic are shared with far more than this thread has indicated.

We already see a large difference in the overall opinion of these changes from Bonezz's poll compared to posters in this thread. People just can't be bothered putting in the effort to post. Just because Aella has, does not mean she is a minority here.

The 50 most vocal people on the forum do not and will never represent the majority of players.

What is needed is a better and more accessible way of polling opinions on topics within the game. That every player has immediate and easy access to, that doesn't force them to create a forum account.

I obviously agree with this, and I wanted to add to it that the developers are about to roll out an update that over 80% of those polled said that they do not approve of in its current fashion.

"Deal with it and if you still don't like it we can change it" is a rather ridiculous comeback too. People know RIGHT NOW that they won't like these changes.

As a business your lawyers will tell you that fraud is a crime that will cost you three times the amount defrauded of the consumer, If you roll out your update be ready to lose 3 times the money you have gained in the past month. I will seek legal representation, and recruit as many players as possible to strip you of the money that you have taken from us. I invested for the ability to use the items I purchased...not to be told they cant be used until I have stayed with the game long enough to use them. That should have been a stipulation in the purchase, but was not, therefore you cannot take away a service paid for and rendered.

I could also point out, Scaren that only 4 people in the poll have approved of these changes and are ALL in the top 100. So you've shown yourself to be very hypocritical.

And for your information, I logged in and they were already having the conversation. I just told them that somehow, 4 people posting and twisting everything I say on a thread has been interpreted as being a majority of some kind. So I told them not to complain to me about it- but to state how they feel.

Their opinions are valid and they have the right to express them.

haha you are quite the aggressive little sphinx. You seem to like to lash out to all people who post on here. Seems like you would love it if top 100 people were erased from the game. You seem to think this game revolves around you. Now as for the new system I never once said that I was ok with it or liked it. Considering i'm sure the devs worked hard on this new system your saying that they should just scrap it before they even try it. So let's say we do a poll now. People vote on what they want. one week later the devs get the update. I feel like a week is giving to much credit to the slow turtle devs. But then people who voted on whatever is going to be implemented now complain about how it will be unfair. Just doesn't work. People are to fickle and like to change their opinions to much. Now I did not like the delays of GW. But I do not think the devs would bomb their own game. Please tell mew how you can see who voted for what. Please explain this.

I do think the pvp is unbalanced and newer players feel a false sense of security with the equipment , but it is unfair to rob them of the ability to use what they have paid for in its entirety.

Ok if I have an elitist mentality you have a noobish mentality. Funny how you call me a hypocrite when you just went on 8 pages in a forum when most people disagreed with you, you continued to say you were right. You keep talking about the elite like it is some kind of club. Also about the bigger guilds getting their regions. They are the biggest and strongest guilds so of course they should get the best regions.

Most people did not disagree with me, as has been exhibited repeatedly. I was told constantly that I was the minority but I was not. I pointed out that those who would actually be affected wouldn't like it. And they don't like it.

And there is evidence to back it up.

I belive majority of players will not even see that change. New players do not get epic godlike items, and after getting lvl 5-6 (about week of playing) if they be extremally lucky and get enough frags to craft epic or gl item they will be able to use it.

I do not see the reason why this is all about. Epic/GL gear is needed in pvp, with rares you can easily win solo/coop and even you can equip some epic/gl items.

Could you tell me in one or two short sentences why do you dislike changes?

I think that those changes will become very good (however i would like to see them in action) and move game from p2w to f2p (in my opinion this game is far more closer to f2p that p2w even before changes).

The new restrictions will affect me as well, i will have to lvl up my units by two lvls. It will take me 2-3 weeks but i am not crying because of that.

Bonez summed it all up nicely in his post on his poll. And it cannot be claimed that I put him up to it. He and my entire guild have been at odds so he is definitely acting of his own accord. Not that my guild mates aren't as well. Scaren seems to want to believe otherwise, however.

I don't support strongly any side of the argument... gave my opinion but if the devs go the other way that's fine by me too.

It's the way you express yourself, the rights you claim, the entitlement you feel you have a right too and the endless whiny complains that I have a problem with.

at level 10-11 naked cav does great in hard, remember there was an update that gave it extra hit point some time ago...i even win NM naked if need be, although the army gets a bit too battered...

for pvp i only use just lia and sometimes with 1 HI and without heroes and its a piece of cake. do it only with 3-4 troops and low tiers and and i can win even experienced pvpers(nethacked, williumwall, dave0000, others). i refuse to fight with larger numbers its too much hassle and hard to find the matches. actually, now that the noobswarm is over and with the update that its coming we wont be fighting noobs anymore so pvp will be hard to get if you dont chat to arrange matches

i will tell you this, I play this game for 3 months now and payed some gems into the game, not as much as you for sure, but if i would not have some advantage againts noob players it would not be worth it would it? that is part of the interest of the game and if removed from us, it would suck. maybe enough for us to leave the game as well. 1 month from now, if you are still playing maybe you will complain that you dont have enough edge against noob players that pay their way in.

also, honestly, i when I was your level i was playing naked, and so are the majority of other young players and i would not complain about this change at all, i would be happy there is new content in the game and actually the pvp changes would benefit me because top players could no longer prey on me. and the AI changes would make coop battles with top players easier instead of a wipeout.

many of the changes are to help the majority of young players and balance them against the veterans so its ridiculous what are you saying that the game revolves around vets. it clearly does not and devs are caring a lot about young players. also, like in all games its nice that leveling up gives you extra things, like in this case, the capacity of using more items. this will make their experience more enjoyable but you have to see the worse and of it and you are really being an annoying prick! god i am tired of your and your guild members rants!
