| The Undead, surprised by the swiftness with which the dwarfs waddling heavy infantry had reached them, quickly closed ranks about the fallen Runeslayer, silent piles of bone moving with eerie precision. Krumnir and his dwarfs felled skeleton after skeleton, crushing their knees to bring them within reach. The mighty dwarven hero gritted his teeth, eyes darting down the battle line. His troops were waning in numbers, while the undead seemed to bring ever more infantry and archers to the fray. Just as Krumnir summoned a burst of energy for his final, suicidal charge, he spied a rising column of dust behind the undead. Cavalry! And just maybe... reinforcements....

| But Kumnir's hopes were dashed, for on their hell steeds rode demons. Determined to slay his dwarves and return Runeslayer's body to Xargos's dark altar to be come his new vessel upon Erevos... but loo hope rose again, for as the Demon's approached Runeslayer's body a young dwarf of Kumnir's company, a short beard named Than0s, who had sought shelter in Runeslayer's Ironfort after being wounded, deciphered the Hero's crabbed writing and brought the war engine to life. The demons we powerless against it's mighty armor falling by the thousands. The undead would not retreat, but the Ironfort's tremendous weight made the ground tremble, shaking their skeleton's to pieces. In the distance Kumnir could see a dark shadow against the horizon, believing Orcs hordes must be advancing he gathered his survivor's upon the Ironfort and retreated with the wounded Runeslayer inside... | |

| but it was already too late. The green sea of orcs were rushing upon the exhausted orcs. The orcs were endless but the dwarves held on for a valiant last stand. As the orcs charged they were met with a volley of arrows. Out of the trees came hundreds of elves shooting with deadly precision. The orcs were unfazed though and continued their onslaught... | |

| Once more the drumming of thousands of hooves could be heard over the din of battle, and Kumnir directed two of his company to carry Runeslayer to safety under the trees with a desperate hope that the elves could conceal him from the dark forces, while he and the rest of his company delayed the Orcs and the Demons behind them. But his heroic last stand was not to be, for this time the cavalry were not Demons upon hell steeds but Humans on sure footed Destriers. The human cavalry crashed into the Orc lines like an avalanche, breaking their lines and forcing them back in confusion. Piktas leader of the Human Cavalry urged Kumnir to allow them to tie the wounded Runeslayer into a saddle and bear him swiftly away before the Dark forces returned, but Kumnir distrustful all non-dwarves refused... | |

| As the true 14 gathered, and the host of there undead armies stood guard, no one realized that the undead were the true rulers of the the dark faction. There around the the necromancers fire stood Adex, Taters, Naz, Cellenus, Spyder, Gashadokurro, Skultra, Methlab. Kubasaka, Krellian, Clambam, Ala, Paddy69, and Anduin.
As they plotted the down fall of the light side, a shimmering light appeared off to the right side of the hall. Suddenly mercenaries, and warriors from Diamond and the tavern poured out of the light with Rand 6464, Steinhund, Festering, Benni, Ashordt, Bkw, Pyr, Ninefingers and Wolffrang, all the lights went out and...

Instead he loaded Runeslayer, still unconscious and breathing shallowly, back into the Ironfort, and ordered a forced march. Piktas formed up his cavalry into two units, an escort for the Ironfort and a company of scouts which he sent racing ahead and behind. The column marched into the night, and Piktas worried that his scouts had not returned with the fall of darkness...
