| Voted yes, for two reasons:
1: More concentrated community and reunification of friends is very likely to result in a better experience for most players; this definately applies to brand new ones, as well.
2: The stance you gentlemen have taken has perfect balance. I would really like to see where this goes, and what the players/Devs have to say on the mechanics of a unified server.
Good job all;
Cheers!

Let us just say that this time, we will show the world map and get feedback before it goes live... I think that if we use the lessons taken by both maps, we can create an interesting, new world map that will be challenging and interesting at the same time.

so we will just keep making polls till you get what you want? Nice. Also, why in Erevos do the light get to take dark regions at 30% and light gets to keep regions at 30%? Seems... biased to me... Oh and if you want to reset things, just do it... why make these silly polls that you obviously don't want to adhere to? errr.... wtf?
70/30 has always been the capture/defend ratio. I have no idea what you're complaining about?? :\ Errr, good point, not sure what I was thinking. Was in rant mode, so my apologies!

| Since we're dreaming of a new map.. here are some ideas:
- Create impassable/un-ownable territory (mountains?) - Create passable/un-ownable territory (ocean / seas) - Create "portals" or "gates" into distant territories - Have "floating territories" (they move a little bit every 6-24 hours) - Have "poisonous/acidic" territories (every 6 hours, the controlling faction and guild lose XX (or %) CP in that territory)
And my favorite: - Territories specifically designated for the preparation and cooking of feasts with elves! (for those of you with access to the appropriate recipe book)

- It is obvious that the majority of the people are leaning towards a 1 game world solution, which is logical under these circumstances.
It is also obvious that people who have voted against this solution are afraid of the consequences.
We are working on a solution where the entire population will be transferred from both Erevos and Olympus to a new world map and without losing progression, Guild levels or anything else. It is going to be a HECK of a job for us to create queries so that happens automatically and we may have to have a downtime of 2-4 hours, but heck...The best for our Community is the best solution for us...
I believe this is the best solution and will keep all players happy....
I will allow the poll to run for 2-3 more days and then another thread will be opened to discuss the hows and whys of the merger. First off i'm sure everyone who was afraid of losing their/guild progress can now breathe a sigh of relief. Secondly putting all that work load on yourselves devs can be a big and difficult project. Good luck with it

| Guess the next question is gonna be: "How long are we going to wait before all this cool stuff gets ready?" Waiting should be outlawed! | |

Waiting should be outlawed! As I mentioned, I want this poll to run for 2-3 more days, which means that on Monday we can start a new poll so the Community can upvote or downvote the solution we offer for the merging of the 2 game worlds. I find no reason why someone would downvote the solution which offers no loss of progression at all and a brand new world map with new functions, but the Community will decide.

| What about that idea: If you have 2 accs, you can pick what acc you want to pick (which race, name), but you can choose to still have units and building levels from other account (everything that fame depends on). But you keep resources from both accounts, aether and gems. That will completely solve 2 acc problem. Why to so complicate is because some players (like me) have acc on different faction on different servers. | |

| I don't think that aether should be pooled if you have 2 accounts because that'll give those players an advantage over others. Perhaps you pick 1 account to take the aether from instead. | |

| I like Claudandus' idea! Anyone playing w/mixed races could just have both in barracks!
Seriously though... at this point quite a few people have voted no but very few seem to have posted why... I would like to hear a few more negative opinions on here so I don't just assume you're all whiny no-men and disregard your opinions completely ;P.

| I think that the reason that people don't want a merge is probably either they like things how they are or they don't like the player base on the other server. None of these can be changed while still merging hence they voted no.

| Ohh playerbase surely. I noticed how they have different pvp habits and such, bc1 are a lot more friendly, and ofc many knowitall noobs and joyce/ST type gemmers migrated. then again, many fun people there too.. sigh. | |

| Would you say that the player base on BC2 is on average good or bad? Also, I'm interested to hear what the BC2 player base thinks about the BC1 player base. | |

I think both player-bases are fine. There are always quarrels and whatnot no matter which server you go to but overall it's pretty friendly on both servers from what I see.

| From my personal pov, i can say that life on the light side became great after the server split. Suddenly all guilds cooperated and pulled on the same rope. Peace and mutual agreements united us, contrarily to the previous state where A didnt like B and C wanted D's territory. Overall i cant even tie it to any type of players like extensive gemusers, eventhough there was a substantial amount of snob-behaviour ppl moving over. I miss few selected persons, but overall i would definitely favor the community on BC1 over BC2. Come to think of it, just as olympus went live, darks started to annoy each other and fight over territories, recruit each other and shout around how much better their gems are opposed to other ppls gems. It was idiotic, i had gotten a dozen of really bad invitations "hi join us we are yay". And also some stories about broken agreements, promises etc. That moment i reallised how paradisical the life on erevos became, despite low population and all those wannabe cool kids coming to erevos and proclaiming how much superior olympos is and that everyone should quit playing erevos already as the world will go down because "every" active soul has already switched.... Funny now huh? In general i take the side of whatever is better for the game, i think that two servers are beneficial for the game long term, but if devs and the community do not see a future there, i am fine either way. But i am one of the "no" ppl | |

| I voted to merge.
Like many, I was on BC1 (Erevos) before migrating to BC2 (Olympus). There were a couple people that I didn't particularly like, the majority I was fond of or neutral toward.
I don't see much difference on Olympus regarding personality types...I don't know if that is because I'm oblivious to such things, it is related to in/out-groups, or something entirely different.
I will grant that PvP behavior does seem to be different...but with such few people doing PvP I don't think that is at all indicative of the community on either server.
