| just one more thing!
As i see it, the map size have been changed mostly because the cannon could almost shoot to the other end without moving! why is this a problem? that would make two units going into melee combat much faster (then cannons are useless)!
And the bigger map makes the Solos more boring! more waiting for the units to reach each other! And if a LI flees from a HI it take ages before it leaves the map! we need one more speed up button for this change! or change it back to like it was :-)

stray shots seem common for all artys (i dunno where my own cannons hit half of the time ;p). the actual failing to hit -somewhere- is annoying... Have you noticed any differences when vs'ing dark cannons now? Just sit in a pile and see? you expected this update? how does it fix anything..? - Quote :

Again I am just pointing out what I see when I battle. As an elf with relatively useless artillery... I would like to point out, that I've *NEVER* worried about facing light artillery of any type; they're weak. HOWEVER, dark artillery forces me to cower in a corner, unless I have cavalry to counter it, since it fires over obstacles. stop griping. | |

Why punish like this... | |

| From my PvE experience I would say dark artillery is nothing compared to what it used to be. Before the patch in PvE if there was Arty I would have to either hope my archers could see it or I would have to wait a bit and send out my LiA and hope the terrain helped them and I didn't take too many hits. But now I do not have to worry about them as much since they always stay at max range and miss so much it is near comical. | |

| Now after a few weeks and nothing is changed!! i still use my cannon in hope that you guys change it back to how it was! it still does veeeeery low number of kills! less then a lvl1 LI without gear! so get your work mask on and change it back! | |

| The problem with this is that there are very few players that use their cannons in their army, because they already was "bad" before the patch! so you really needed to learn how to use them! So thats why there are not THAT many who complains about the latest patches!
the only way to use them now, is to put them VERY close to the AI because it spreads more with long distance! this make the enemy archer to hit the cannon with 1-3 shots and the cannon is gone! The point with the cannon was to place it very carefully so it not get hit by the archer!
Pitty that so few players use them, because they are fun, and a unit you have to learn how to use! Now i guess there is no one that already have it, that will buy it!
And in PVE it was fun to face a lvl 15 light cannon! you had to use tactics not to get killed! now i just take my LIA and go straight ahead with no hiding or nothing to kill them... they maybe kill 5-10 units by that time! and thats lame!
