NM seems ridiculous now

The change to NM was funtastic Smile

I do agree that rewards should be increased to scale with the difficulty.

Thank you for all the recent updates; this particular change is fantastic in spite of the ripple effect Smile

Also, glad to see so many active members in the forum Very Happy

Don't get me wrong I like that it is truly a NM mode now but the gold profit is much better in coops and hards now

It depends what you want from a battle. If it's gold profit then NM isn't for you. If, on the other hand, it's CPs, NM is hard to beat.

Just lost my 2nd NM btw. It was those nasssssty elvses again. I don't want to hear anymore complaints about how under-powered they are. They're the only race that has beaten me in NM and they've come close several times more.

I don't have a clue how that works; in PVPs we've had the dickens of a time trying to win a SINGLE FIGHT. I can't beat anyone since the recent set of changes (debuffed our archers, buffed dwarves and darkies) and I've tried EVERYTHING I could think of, build wise...

Ah I have lost to plenty of elves plenty of times Will has beaten me before but that was a LI/LIA battle but I have to say it does seem difficult for you elves although your AI elves crush in NM Sad

Maybe you need a little buff but very little and besides I suggest keep trying with different strageties because I doubt the devs will change stats anymore.

But elves in solo even kill me 60% of the time (i am an elf) but the ia's men are better then mine Sad

. but I can never kill dwarves when they have their stupid heavies. But humans are easy kills

Funny that you replied to Souless's post because I was also confused are you saying that NM mode is harder using archers,arty and one HI?

Sorry, catching up on the forum.

NM is defintely harder....It is still primarily all I do. I felt it was way too easy before. Never lost a NM before the change...now have lost 4 (all against dwarves - 4 heavies is tough...) but still win over 90% of them (I normally take 8 units).

Also, max out the number of units you take based on units - it is easier to have 8 good units vs 11 then 5 good units against 8. However, GL equipped units I doubt will ever have a problem....I just got my first GL item yesterday...created a GL banner +28 mor, +3 mov, +17 STR and I think +18 items)

However, I have learned dont take artillery to NM (a few people may be good with them....I am not yet).

Also, reading other comments....Hard is a great alternate. Great rewards and no hard mission has been a challenge yet, plus I can battle about 2 or 3 times faster as I dont have to wait for the units to heal....I just give up the chance of getting GL items.

Anyway, most of this has already been covered...but felt I would through my experience out there....Thanks.

wow that's a very good gl banner. My gl's banners suck
