So reading some threads actually got me curious, do you have plans to expand on units, both types and number of units in each class?
I mean right now LI and LIA share equipment so basically they are in the same class but what about archers, HI, Cav and artillery? Will these be receiving some complimentary secondary units?
Or perhaps even create hybrid units with current classes. For example mix the cav and archer class to have horse riding archers (I don't think almost full HI armies will appreciate it but they need to learn new strategies and bring in different units too).
Could even mix LI's and Arti (for example, mortars require people to load and fire it). For long range they use the mortar and when in close the LI fight. (The LI can be equipped armour/weapons for CQC combat)
Of course, all of this is just ideas for the future but are we going to see a much bigger expansion on the number of different units available to us?
Mages, mages are even mentioned in story-line quests. So will races see some sort of mage class in the future for their armies?
Artillery has much that can be expanded. Unites like Trebuchet (non-moveable once placed?), ballista (elves have this, but humans and others could too!), Greek fire (basically a flamethrower type of ship artillery which actually brings up another question, will there be ships in the far-ish future?).
Cav artillery can use this thing called a hand culverin. Basically a medieval musket.
Even different LI and HI types that carry different loadouts, like flails and maces. War hammers and Claymores.
Cavs with long range weapons (like picks)

LIs with Pikes, spears, etc to better kill cavs (My favourite in the man-catcher polearm).
Even archer/LI combos that throw a spear and then use a sword (basically 1 volley from the men and then they do CQC).
Yeah, I am going to stop for now here, but you get the point. Will we be seeing things like this in the future to further diversify armies? Even if some of them is just types of weapons actually affecting the weapons they carry in-game for better efficiency against certain unit types.
Ooo, another new unit, trap layers, basically they can build pits but it takes time and they must use resources from the map.
Okay, I am going to be quiet now... XDD
