GS Score and items

I need some assistance in understanding how the new GS system works. I can no longer play Co-Op, or PVP, or anything with the equipment I bought. I am probably doing something wrong.

Will someone drop me a line I feel like a lost ball in high weeds.

ah well first off please don't spam all the forum with the same problem. I for one get OCD and have to look at every single forum post and finding the same one is annoying. Your units level determines the amount of ap you can put on that unit. If there is a red number where it says GS you have exceeded your GS cap.
