...finally I have way too much to say on a single topic to try and fit in into a PM... And this is of general/public interest I guess (as I gathered from chats with players and from some similar forum posts), so I'm posting in here. Your wish is kind of granted, Runeslayer x)

Some people (i.e. not only me!) want more clarity/openness involving statistics of BC. In other words... Devs keep tons of statistics, why not share some more numbers with the general population? ^^
So far we see fame/cps/some percentages in the form of achievements, and can look at someone's pvp ratio only with great additional effort and only of own faction...  

I'm not sure just how much info devs keep about us... So I'm assuming "everything" and I personally suggest some combination of these...

A. Shown somewhere public/visible to everyone

(1-2 are certainly logged)

1. Total cps generated per cycle or 24 hours for a faction, either
-realtime as a counter near resources or gems panel (harder to implement I think, but more motivation for some people to try and get more cps)
-once per cycle or hourly or daily...
as in "dark earned 12345 cps today, light earned 98765", as a static message/in dedicated space rather than a floating message.

2. Player count!
At least something like this "online: 50 dark, 60 light"

Could be more numbers, such as "x darks and y lights active during last 7 days" (or so... to kind of prevent counting in inactives) and "there are x orcs, y DLs, z undeads online"... Would be useful to see the ratio between players of factions and maybe among races (there's some rumor about orcs being the most rare race...).

cp/fame averages for each race?  

3. Total guild influence points gained (hm, and ranking by ips next to "players" and "guilds" in town screen's rankings)
Not sure if it should include ips gained from mercenaries...

and some other stuff, like...
4. Some indication of server load or so... (i'm paranoid about lag, ok? scratch)
5. Number of current battles (i mean the solo+coops*number of players in it+pvps that are happening at one particular moment) in faction and/or overall.

B. Personal statistics. Kind of like in achievements. Preferably having their own icon next to quests/achievements/shop.

1. PVP. Ok, the removal of public pve/pvp ratios was based on the presumption that this ratio prevents people from pvping... And it's great to see CPs in rankings instead. But some of us miss it :(So I suggest the pvp ratio to be reintroduced for a personal viewing.
(no surprise here - I like pvping and would love to see many numbers relating to it).
Such as:
-the pvp ratio...
-number of pvps done, won, lost (hard to tell those especially after earning the titan-prereq achievement of 350 pvp wins!..)
-how many times pvped a specific race (mine would probably be 60% vs elves..)
-if same-faction pvp is enabled... pvp count vs lights and vs darks.

2. Statistics of drops, gold earned from battles etc.
e.g. dropped total 4 godlike frags, 10 epic, 20 rare... Gained 100 items from pvps (obsolete now, but still interesting Razz)

3. Crafting statistics (just like in achievements, just numbers instead of percentages)
+ up to such lengths as "how many items of each type a person has" (100 weapons, 20 of those are LI, 3 godlikes..... etc), but that's some overkill I think.

4. Number of total battles, solos, coops, pvps... (well pvp could be merged to this...) again it's hard to count these after earning specific achievements.

...and/or some other stuff.
Could look like achievements window, tabs in left side, numbers in right (where achievement icons are).


While I'm at this -maybe more achievements and titles in the future? bounce

This is more a statistics thingie, not an actual value which is important for a player. Also, showing exact numbers of players per faction can be exploited, leading to rush attacks for example.

This is already in though.... Click on a Region and then on Regional Info.

Smile You shouldn't experience server lag again... Network lag, perhaps....Client lag (which is related to a player's hardware) perhaps...but lag from us...never again.. Wink

Hmmm...perhaps... We just need a place to add all this info... We don't want to fill the whole GUI with numbers and buttons... Take into consideration people with smaller screen resolutions...

Agreed. All this information is supposed to be added to the Player's profile which is in our ToDo list. The problem is that the ToDo list is quite...big.

ah yea, exploiting... What about percentages then? And % of races bounce 
And it's kind of important, at least in making excuses why the dark is losing Rolling Eyes

1 button in the townscreen. Maybe a small display of cps in some other corner. That's it.

My limited coding experience (high school years ago) tells me that this (and much of the job[I'm beginning to think they're all that way]) might be a pain in the ass to do...but my suggestion would be to have an option when first starting the game (or when loading each time if required) to create a super-awesome tricked out High-res UI and then a low-res compatible option.

Posting a complete version of the ToDo list might prove to be a win-win. Make the order random so that we don't lose that 'surprise' element; but the list would inform players you both know and are willing execute said function over time through patching.

Amen to that. Even a sticky topic with things that are under consideration perhaps of course delagate authority and have someone who perhaps does not do alot of coding but is part of the team maintain it.

We wouldn't want to "influence" people towards one race or the other.

Again, I don't understand the importance of this value, as CPs can be dispersed in various Regions and depending on whether a Faction is actively "defending" or not, the outcome on the World Map may vary.

200 in one day? Smile Try 4.000 - 8.000 in one day instead...and yes...we promise. The problems the servers experienced back then were related to the DB...It was our fault, not the servers'.

You should implement some noob-freedom-limiting options (please!).
Nothing harsh, just...
1. Co-ops
Prevent 2 unhealed rookies in co-op... O.o Or to rephrase, there should be a min fame limit, as in PvPs.. Now sometimes a person with 10 fame or so start co-oping instead of doing solos.
Even I see how it's unfair ("players should enjoy the game in a way they want" etc etc). But really co-op is nothing useful for rookies as they either rush and die or hide and get no kills (free-resource farming...). Why not let them level up in solo battles a bit... Say 100 fame and at least 1-star units or combined unit xp min value... Just unlock co-op option then ^^

2. Chat
Either limit faction (+global?) chat to min fame (some noobs do no battles, just ask nonsense in chats, and you all know my position on that)
Or create a general chat and help chat... One for regular stuff, other to help noobs, answer their questions or whatever. (no place for that in the current GUI, but maybe reduce the size of other chat buttons and cram additional one).

1. no "probably", dammit. It will save you so much time as people wouldn't suggest the same things over and over anymore. And imagine... which brings me to the next point
2. soonish?? I suggest that you put this to the top/"most important" part of your List:
"post the to do list in forum" as in...not after next updates...not next year... The community needs it. Maybe not detailed list at first, but SOMETHING.

p.s. oh, what about the other list(s) that I asked? (hint: the only way to stop me from repeating myself is to give a definite answer or at least say when I should EXPECT the answer)

hm, pvp? oh not fair, you know how i don't reject any offers to pvp. And how my race units are weak now ^^ (now i know why you aren't in a hurry to fix this Razz)

but seriously, I'd want to fight you under any conditions, no matter how badly i'd lose.

but you won't actually pvp me, so meh. (and post the list anyway, community needs it!)

It would be good if Fyrr's suggestion put on 1 statistic tabs.
Like when you click players name on ranking tabs, it would display all win/lose, pvp, mvp, CP, play time, etc

and yeah, we need to display who is online.


I see some bring unhealed troops, but they arent newcomers,
about coop with newcomers, yeah we should bring limit on fame for doing coop, or at least barrack upgrades.

It sounded like the devs didnt want to give away tooo much player intel through the leaderboards. I completely agree with that for things like online times. That should not be visible to people outside the guild.

I agree it would be nice to be able to see those stats privately in the achievement window though. People can screenshot for bragging rights if they really want to.

Heh, I agree that most stats should be private. (hm, I really wouldn't like to see e.g. my pvp loss count displayed. 200 times? 300? Shameful)

And about online times... The day is still visible to everyone looking at any guildpage. Or did you meen something different?

On a half-unrelated note, I'd be happy to see the secondary ranking by CPs in the leaderboards soon though. (keyword is SOON).

your luck. There are 2 categories of unhealed troops: near-rookies (2-3 squads with half people left... Maybe they lack gold to heal) and too-good-to-bother-about-healing kind, such as Yan.
