| Does the Strength stat have any use for missile units? The description says increases chance of a hit turning into damage in melee, so does a higher strength translate into a better chance for penetration or is it only a melee stat. e.g. If they get into hand to hand, that is the only time strength will matter | |

The Strength stat indicates the Strength in melee. However, missile weapons have a Strength stat which can be increased either with items or with special abilities.Poison special ability for example increases the Strength of the ranged attack making a ranged attack more probable to inflict damage. Missile weapons have a default Strength stat of 30, while artillery is higher and depending on the type can be really devastating.

You just need a very good item roll.

| Took me a while to find out but: "- Missile base STR has increased from 35 to 45 - Archers receive +1/lvl to their Missile Strength. Also, from 20+ Strength stat, the additional Strength points are added to the Missile Strength. Previously it was from 30+ Strength stat. They should be a lot more effective in high end PvP now, but still not HI executioners." (Source: Hades is AAAAAALIVE - patchnotes) Missle-Str = 45 + Level + (Str-20) | |
