Rest in peace Olympus and Erevos and welcome Hades!

Hades is much larger than Olympus and Erevos and we added more Regional Bonuses, as the Community suggested.
You will notice that we have rearranged the Regional Bonuses and they are placed according to some of the Community's recommendations.


Fixes:


- Mechanics behind units' animations have been improved. These changes should resolve problems like the case where troops remain idle while they are engaged.

- We believe we have made a huge improvement in regards to the "vacuum" effect. I will not going into details, but our tests have shown that it has significantly improved.

- The problem with engaged units creating an invisible barrier through which allied units could not pass through, even though they could, has been resolved.

- When an engagement is finished, troops/units remain where they are, instead of being "rushed" in an abnormal way to a point close to the engagement.


Changes:


- Fog of War

The entire map is visible, but players cannot see the movements/actions of other units if they are not inside the field of view (FOV) of the units. Obstacles block FOV, but it is possible to "hear" hidden enemy units that are very close to one of your units.

- The range of all ranged units (not artillery units) has been decreased by 10.

- Instead of 9 ranged attacks per tick, ranged units have now 10 attacks per tick.

- Missile base STR has increased from 35 to 45

- Archers receive +1/lvl to their Missile Strength. Also, from 20+ Strength stat, the additional Strength points are added to the Missile Strength. Previously it was from 30+ Strength stat. They should be a lot more effective in high end PvP now, but still not HI executioners.

- Ironfort's stats have been changed: Attack 5 from 3, HP 15 from 10 and AP 190 from 240

- Dark Legion's LI reaction has changed from 10 to 9.

- Undead LI has reaction 8 from 7 and LIA 7 from 6.

- Undead LI AP changed from 45 to 63, LIA from 55 to 73 and HI from 145 to 165.

- Undead's Loss of Control (LOC) has changed from 2-3 to 1-3.

- Undead receive a multiplier when they lose Morale, which is 1.2. In other words, Undead lose Morale 1.2 times faster than the rest of the units in the game.

- Raise Dead special ability chance changed to 15, 20 and 25.

- Units have now volume. They are not completely rigid blocks, but you will find that when you order them to move, they will maneuver around a friendly unit if it finds it in its way. Same applies when they reach their destination.

- Pathfinding has been reworked in order to resolve several issues with units "dancing" around the battlefield.

- Attacks of opportunity are more lethal when a fleeing unit tries to pass through enemy units. With the volume of the units, a fleeing unit will try to pass through enemy units ONLY if it can't find another way to flee.

- Distribution of damage in a multiple engagement has been reworked to be more fluid.

- There are now 2 fleeing statuses.

a) A fleeing unit has a chance to rally. A white flag will be static on top of the unit's banner.

b) A fleeing unit has no chance to rally. An animated white flag will be on top of the unit's banner.

When all enemy units are fleeing with status b (no chance to rally) the game will inform the player that he can End the Battle immediately. If the players chooses to do so, the battle ends immediately. If the player clicks on "No", because he wants to hunt down the units, to gain full XP, then an "End Battle" button will appear below the mini map. A player can click on it at anytime to End the Battle.

- Artillery units have now 2 circles. The outer circle shows max range and the inner circle shows min range. No artillery unit can shoot an enemy unit if the unit is closer than its min shooting range.

- When "Attacking Ground", a graphic will show where the "Attack Ground" command has been assigned on the terrain. IF the graphic does not appear, then the "Attack Ground" has not been given. (Eg. Enemy unit is too close, can't shoot over obstacles, etc.)

- All buttons on the Battle GUI have now tooltips.

- Melee button has been added for all ranged units. It is now possible to order a ranged unit to attack an enemy unit in melee.

- If an artillery unit loses sight of its target or it is not possible to shoot at that target for any other reason, it will become idle.

- Blast radius of dark artillery units has been increased by 38%.

- Players can now click anywhere on screen to immediately finish the "Achievements" and "Quest Completed" animations.

- The XP reqs per level for the Heroes have been changed.

- Heroes have now different stat caps and different initial and cap HPs to cater with the problem of different reaction times.

- The Dwarven engineers have made a breakthrough! New player triggered special ability has been added to the Ironfort called Overboost. The Ironfort receives a speed boost for a period of time. This special ability has a 60 sec cooldown.

- Cooldown animation has been added to the "Impact Damage" special ability.

- From now on, Fame will be called "City Score" and it will indicate the city progress of a player. It will be calculated from the level of the buildings and the technologies that the player's city has.

- Player Rankings and Guild Rankings will now depend on CP (Conquest Points), which will be reset every time a Factions conquers the enemy Capital.

- Aether rewards have changed and will now depend on CP.

- Regional Bonuses upgrade costs and time have been SIGNIFICANTLY reduced.

- Supplies production has been reduced.

- Regional Bonuses upkeep cost in supplies has been increased. The next update will have all Regions sending their supply production to the Guild's Capital, where it will be stored and upkeep will be removed from.

- Messages older than 20 days have been deleted. From now on, messages older than 20 days will be deleted automatically. (Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to have your deleted msgs back.)

- Conquest Cycles are now 8 hours, instead of 6 hours.

- More repair slots have been added!

- Min. items' bonus per rarity is according to Erevos and max. items' bonus according to Olympus. All items which exceeded the max. bonus (items from Erevos) have been changed to the new max.

- Premium bonuses such as production bonus, research bonus etc. have been disabled for one day. Tomorrow we will enable them and all players who have them will receive 2 more additional days.



A limited time "Delete Account" function has been added, mainly for the users who had one account on Erevos and one account on Olympus. You can learn more about it by followin the instructions in the "News" window when you first login.


We hope we didn't forget anything!

A lot more changes are coming up and a lot of new features!
