| I appreciate that you can now see all units stats as flags aren't sitting on top of eachother, but it makes it very difficult to see exactly where a unit is in a big melee and be able to flank effectively, which I think is more important...can we please have old style back | |

| Agreed - it's hard to tell which unit you're trying to attack. | |

| all the flags are in a line, they overlap from a different battle to the left (if you have 2 fights going on)
Its impossible to see who you flank or how much health units have remaining.. Its really hard to tell where each unit is especially when you have 10 units in the same battle....
I really liked the old flags on top of each unit........... nice and neat

| I agree, this new system seems really bad. I'm in favor of bringing back the old one. | |

| I hope it's a bug, and not intended, because if it's a bug it'll get fixed. | |

| It was intended, not that it makes much sense or helps the overview, but its a trial and error | |

I don't think it's that bad was just surprised by it.

| From current pow it misses its purpose, thats all. Purpose was to distinguish unit positions from each other. And last (this) approach was to place banners next to each other to make them easy to click. Upon clicking you highlight the troops and can find out where your unit is. This may all sound smarter than the execution if you see your banners in one line across your whole screen So yeah trial and error, you know the purpose now, suggest an improvement. | |

I don't think it's that bad was just surprised by it. I think it is bad I understand why the devs did it, and think the idea behind making it clearer so you can see how many units you are fighting and how much strength/morale they each have left is good, however the positioning of the flags now makes it very unclear where the heck each unit is during large melee, which makes it very difficult to position your flanking correctly. Also when you are near the edge of the screen, then the flags go off the screen and you can't see them let alone click on them This https://imgur.com/FbfObOt is a pic of a small simple melee, but it shows the point As for suggestion for improvement, I would suggest that the flag positions go back to how they used to be, but upon mouse over stacked flags would display in a line as they are now....could be a best of both worlds scenario

| I do agree that the old way was better and I could just look at the GUI if I wanted to see my units morale and health. | |

Yes agreed, I would use the GUI also...the only benefit I see from this is it makes it clearer to see the enemy health/morale But I would rather not see it and be able to properly see their position instead

I like your idea of showing them in a line on mouseover and as before otherwise.

| Please change this back...I honestly thought it was a bug. At the moment, I don't see how it makes things better. | |

| Let's play a game.... which of my units is where.... it makes sense on the minimap, but I've cunningly removed that.... Edit; what really gets me is this; if the concept of 'volume' is introduced, the problem of stacking enemies hiding their HP goes as well. Maybe this is intended to work WITH volume, maybe it's intended to stand-alone but either way it seems like a waste of dev/programmer time given that an upcoming update would have solved the issue anyway......... | |

I have been trying it for more than enough time now, the more I try it the more I hate it. I am losing battles I shouldn't be losing because I cannot see WTF is going on. I see absolutely no benefits to this...yes OK you can see the enemy unit stats, when they are not off the side of the screen, but that is no benefit to me because I cannot tell which unit is where. I see absolutely no other benefits, only a hell of lot of drawbacks. I feel it is counter productive to playing style, it seems the only way to be sure of winning now is to fight in a ball so that it doesn't really matter what your position is (but that is boring as heck). Trying to use fast light troops for flanking has become ridiculous and frustrating....yes I am very frustrated atm, hence the ranting. Please do change the system back ASAP

| After the first battles i thought, why are so many ppl complaining? It was an nice feature to see the single enemy units going down... But now, after ~50 battles: It is a no go. Already written, but again: It is not possible to see, where the enemy is. Sending units to banners, even banners in infight, dont work, as the enemy units are somewhere else...
Devs, please go back to previous state.
Thanks! | |

| Totally agree with all previous posts on that. This line of banners is just not right. | |

| This new setup, combined with enemies (still) fleeing through my lines is complete chaos. It makes it nearly impossible to sort out, especially with banners remaining in their original positions after units die....
I'm finding it very frustrating to play with a large army; surely this is not the intention of the devs in any way.
We had a hot-patch to deal with minor issues and do some UI wiggles, why not revert?

| I've had flags completely go off the screen, so I can't even see what's going on.
I'm not a fan of its current implementation.
