| Why is the dwarf heavy infantry so tanky, it seems unrealistic for them to be that fast and that tanky. | |

| I was asking the same thing when their speed got boosted. Apparently mithril is very light  so there you have it. | |

| Ah ok but I have lvl 10 cav, lvl 10 light inf, and lvl 10 heavy inf with GLs for all, yet still dwarf heavy infantry is faster and stronger, I have even had to chase lvl 8 dwarf heavy inf all across the battle field and could not finish them off.
all the talk about the skellies and poof we get changes and what about this?

| If the dwarf was capped and your units were not then it's not surprising that you had a hard time. The speed is more of a lore thing though. I haven't fought many dwarves and I haven't played as a dwarf either so I can't really comment on if they're OP or not. | |

It just for me pass the common sense test, and I know that every thing is not going to be fair.
But, if we can modify the skellies we can modify the dwarfs.

| Its compensation for their 17 move cavalery. If you nerf dwarf HI speed you need to raise ironfort speed to 25 or give it a shooting cannon  . And yeah mithril is kinda light... Race speciality. The tankiness is because of the armor passive skill. However compared it to fear, its not that OP, just really hard to damage with ranged attacks and pretty much just as with undead, requires you to flank them to win. | |

| Ok Tiber I see what you are saying. And I try to go head to head with the dwarf Heavy infantry then flank them which as you stated correct tactics.
I too understand that their armor is special. But to have see a lvl 8 unit be able to engage my lvl 10 units then run off the battle map kinda sucks. I am awarded the win but this still does not make sense.
I should be able to contain and then wipe them out. | |

... maybe currently ... the pre-nerfed mercenaries (when they originally came out) were truly scary 1! ...
1A single troll would easily kill three heavies, and then proceed to slaughter the rest of the army ... mostly had to kite them with archers to win ... | |
