| Not 100% sure on this but I don't seem to run into heavies that often anymore for the past 2 days. Before I would fight heavies all the time because I would send heavies myself but yesterday I ran into them only about 2 battles throughout the whole day and today seems to be similar. I asked around yesterday and it seemed that it was only me, however, I decided to post this because I just was in a battle where a person had 2 cavalries and at least 1 heavy (not counting my own 2 heavies) and the enemy's side still did not use heavies. I don't know if you changed any mechanics but just to be on the safe side I'm posting this as a bug. | |

| I've noticed it as well, rarely do I ever see more then a single group of heavies, artillery, or cav. This is in 3v-1 coop's but mostly it's made up of light infantry/zerker/archer. On Nightmare it's standard to get 1 group of heavies and several light groups. I hope they re-implement more of them to give coop more of a challenge since most players are in the phases of getting heavy/cav units now. | |

| Not a bug, just us being good with you people... Expect changes when we change the AI as well...No more suicidal attacks by LIs, DPSs or Cavalry....Expect......an organized army | |

| ha ha, but consider to disable coop for new players to the X baracks level. Its not that i dont like newbies, but i can imagine all the rage and hate directed to new players because loss in coop. It may discourage new players from playing this game. | |

| I'm looking forward to a more difficult co-op. I wouldnt even mind seeing multiple difficulty co-ops down the line. It would need more players because I wouldnt want longer queue times than what we have now.
About newbies - a lot of newbies do ask "Am I ready for Hard / Co-op / Nightmare?"...
Maybe instead of a barracks requirement, use the 20 victories achievements to unlock the next hardest mode. I think it makes intuitive sense to a new player that if harder PvE modes are unlocked through achievements, that they will be balanced for someone who has won 20 times in the previous difficulty. They will feel prepared.

| Yea, it has its downsides too. There wont ever be a perfect way to gate people into new content and be sure that they are prepared or fit well with others who are doing that content. I think the idea has the most merit for gating new users into co-op mode. Gating PvE modes is more about vertical progression, so it doesnt feel bad right now since its gated to a barracks level requirement. Gating co-op / multiplayer according to player skill / capability is more useful than gating purely based on vertical progression. If the AI becomes truly challenging, I wouldnt mind seeing something like below: -- Co-op Normal Mode requires ANY one of the following: - 20 Normal Mode Victories
- 10 Hard Mode Victories
- 1 Nightmare Mode Victory
Co-op Veteran Mode requires ALL of the following: - 50 Hard Mode Victories
- 20 Nightmare Mode Victories
- 50 Co-op Mode Victories
Co-op Hardcore Mode requires ALL of the following: - 50 Nightmare Mode Victories
- 50 Co-op Veteran Mode Victories
The priority in my eyes has to be short queue times though. I would rather actually be fighting and have some messy battles alongside newbies than not be fighting at all. Player populations have to support splitting the co-op player pool.
