| This example is only brought here for future reference, since I got a very good example of this. The grey arrow shows the destination of the Waykeepers before they got stuckOver the course of 38 seconds shown by these pictures, the Waykeepers kept changing direction, about every 1 to 2 seconds (so like 25 times or so). - Xargos wrote:

Agreed -- This is a rare bug -- does not happen frequently -- not really a major issue & easy workaround fix (i.e.: go back to troops & move them by hand). I only took the time to post this, as its the best example I have of what is really going on (i.e.: The troops keep selecting a different path regularly 1 but get blocked each time 2). Please keep adding more fun features to game first, before this very minor annoyance. Thanks Footnotes: 1I have seen an enemy bolt thrower do the same, keep changing direction a tiny bit every second or so, stuck in a small area. 2On review of previous description of stuck enemy cavalry it is now clearer, that one *did* move once my troops moved to a spot it could choose a different path to get to my troops. I have seen the same situation once more since.

Another example, also only brought here for future reference: Not sure if I should keep posting these pictures ... I figure this will be a tough bug to solve, when you have time ... so all the pictures might be helpful in the future.

| Greetings, we made some changes to handle this issue.
Please report to us back in case you see units stop moving on their own.
Thank you, Xargos | |

Please report to us back in case you see units stop moving on their own. After about 100 fights, I think this has improved a lot. I've seen semi-stuck units ( moving back & forth between two spots like they used to), however ... by the time, I went to get a picture, they had unstuck themselves So they can still get semi-stuck ... but, it lasts maybe 10 to 15 seconds & now they appear to figure out a new path & keep going. I believe I've seen this a similar situation twice, where they now "walk" around a sharp obstacle by changing their paths. I'll report back in a few hundred more fights; however, for now: No units stuck so far.

| Are you sure they are "semi-stuck" for 10-15 secs? That is a very long time... | |

By "Semi-Stuck" I mean they got trapped between the two trees (so the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th lines. etc). They did more than three times, like at least five times I saw, probably more. Units where "moving" the whole time & picking new directions. So not standing in one place. Each time took about 1/4th second to 1/2th second; and then they would turn around & try again. (NOTE: Was actualy two chariots stuck there together, so maybe that affected it; both moving back & forth). This is pretty typical behavior of a few weeks ago. In the past, they would just continue this constant direction changing forever. This time, after a while ( I guess maybe 5 to 10 seconds on rethinking it), they "escaped the trap" and choose the pink & then lime line. Attempting to make one chariot run around a castle with trees does not get it stuck (moving back & forth) - it runs around just fine. Maybe was two of them, maybe was special case. Either way, the bug is way on its way to being resolved, and probably sufficiently resolved. I was commenting on the one unusual case I saw in the previous report. NOTE: I'm not totally sure was a castle, it was some kinds of jagged trees like shown above, that they got semi-stuck (traveling back & forth a few times) on. NOTE #2: I watched them move back & forth a few times. Then I took a screen shot. Then switched screens to ms-paint. Then saved the screen shot. Then came back to the game to take a second screen shot, at which point, I saw it "escaping" its traps. It takes time to do all this switching to MS-Paint, saving & back to the game, so it was a few seconds. (In the past, I could keep doing this taking lots of screen shots, and they would keep moving back & forth).

| The heavy infantry is moving around in a very very small area going NW then SE, changing direction about 2-3 times a second. Bug: Units can still get stuck; however, it is much rarer than before. Thanks for fixing most of this bug. Still a few edge cases left ... (very rare now, so in my opinion bug sufficiently fixed) | |

| Units halting in spot and units looping around corners are two different cases. I tick out the first as resolved! When time allows, I'll confront the second case properly! Many thanks again. | |

| Just saw this again. This unit sat there for about a full minute. It looked like it was circling itself. It did eventually recover, but I think it was because it rallied and thus changed direction. | |

| Lots of battle changes are in progress. The new battle system will have many common issues resolved as the battle core has been redesigned.
We're hoping for a better and more realistic approach!
