| When I ordered my cavalry to move large distances and went to manage the rest of my army I found my cavalry just stopped mid way for no reason. This happened 3 times. Now I'm not sure but I think they could have gotten stuck while cutting a corner of an obstacle. They start moving again when reordered. | |

| Same problem. Experienced this a douzen times with different unit types. Giving the command again fixes the problem, but sometimes i really need to rely on the assumption that the unit is doing as told, without supervision. | |

| I had similar cases with times but only at place when my connection is weak, but still it is strange. Unit moved about half of the path and stopped i had to order move again to make it work. | |

| Greetings all,
I guess cavalry stops when turning around an object?

| Seems to be the most frequent occurrence, although I do think it has happened on open ground as well. | |

| Can someone please verify if a unit stops on open ground? That information would shed more light into this issue.
Thank you, Xargos | |

| This happens to me often, usually with my Undead HI, though sometimes with my Undead LI, and always when I order them initially from their starting place at the top, down to hide behind a mid-range obstacle.
If there is another obstacle in their path, chances are good they will jam their little toe bones into the jagged edge of the obstacle and just stand their burning their little draft notices. Selecting the stubborn unit again displays the green line still in place, just with no movement, and I have to right-click again to reissue the order to move.
All further orders to move are obeyed as expected and I am increasing their daily beating frequency until their blind and utter devotion to me returns.
Thank you for looking into this.
Sincerely, ~Mazzrah~ Mistress of the Undead

Thank you, Xargos I'm pretty sure, that this happenend 2-3 times for one from my Cavs. But most of the time it happens when units (LI & Cav) try to walk around corner and after they passed them.

Agreed +1 on getting stuck on jagged edges of an obstacle (though this may be a different bug).

But most of the time it happens when units (LI & Cav) try to walk around corner and after they passed them. I have not seen with calvary, but I will instruct my calvary to run around jagged edges & see if I can capture them doing this....
Here is an example with an enemy bolt thrower: Here I instructed my troops to hide from an elven bolt thrower ... taunting it to walk straight into my troops & get kerzonkalated & splatterated. It never does, but keeps changing directions going up then down, then up, then down (all in the same spot, moving about 20 pixels on the screen each time, then changing direction again) -- Eventually I instructed my troops to stop hiding & just run into & get the silly cannon...

Thank you, Xargos it seems to stop when turning a corner, never on open ground.

| Thank you Joyce! This bug may take a while to get fixed as it needs special attention that we cannot afford right now, but we'll notify all when this is done. cheers! Xargos | |

| Ahhh excellent, I have been noticing the same thing. My Cav units seem to suddenly stop and my LI, LIA and HI units seem to get stuck on the defilade. Xargos I love your avatar. It makes me hungry. | |

| Here is another example of a stuck cavalry ( it did not move for about 45 seconds) Correction: Only three army locations on the mapThe green & blue arrows help locate the cavalry, in relation to all possible armies to attack. Thus, the grey arrows show the only three directions the cavalry should be headed in; however as mentioned above: The cavalry did not move for about 45 seconds.Click here: Full size picture

cheers! Xargos Agreed, not a high priority bug, happens rarely & is not a big deal. I'm adding these pictures to be helpful for the future, when you do get around to looking at this bug.

| hmm.. having last man standing , seemingly being stuck in a fight but not doing any damage, not receiving damage and being unresponsive to (multiple) manual flee command -> would this be part of the same bug or a different one?
