| As you may have seen, a new Forum has been added.
The High Council.
Only the Guild Leaders of the biggest Guilds in the game (1st and 2nd page in the Guild Rankings) and 2 more members of their choosing will be able to access that Forum.
So, rally up and send me a PM with your in-game name and your Guild's name to get access to that Forum!
The High Council should be enabled by Tuesday the 22nd.

| What is the purpose of that forum?
Looking on leaders from first two pages .. hardly anyone is registered or active. If this is about politics - great, if this is about game mechanics, it will require time and luck to get the right ppl ;D
If you are getting a surgery you dont want the head of the department, you want the butcher who is doing it every day. Assuming the game is on the operating table.

If you are getting a surgery you dont want the head of the department, you want the butcher who is doing it every day. Assuming the game is on the operating table. Assuming the Leaders of some of the Guilds are not active, then the people who have "replaced" them can answer the call. We want to slowly start enabling the "You decide what comes next" and the Guilds can play a part in this.

Suggestion: Instead of " access" ... make it so everyone can read the forum; but only the guild leaders & 2 more members are able to post there.

Why not allow everyone to post too then? info can be shared anyway via other means. And it defeats the point of 'restricted' forum or council... Council meetings usually take place behind closed doors... Why should I post there instead of public part about whatever, if it's the same result or visibility... - RuneSlayer wrote:

maybe not. initial idea was better. Though people tend to not like when someone restricts their access to something so they'll complain. I for one would really want more privacy. Like the council meeting in May was, no public log or anything... - 9999 wrote:

don't you worry about maybe not seeing part of the forum, we're informing our guild members anyway all the time...

| So the guilds get the right to make suggestions to the devs? How's that different from the existing forum? Will any word spoken in The High Counsil gain more weight and attention from developers?
Again, if everyone can read the counsil, whole idea is pointless. Fyrr has a point there. How about a thread somewhere else, in General Discussion or News, that would contain topics discussed in Counsil, and/or decisions made about them. This way there would be some balance between closed discussion and awareness of every player.

| Took a quick look at top 2 pages of guilds, and the low-end is 40k fame 40k cp... I have half that fame myself... and twice that in CPs.
I'm not trying to say they shouldn't get the say. But perhaps MORE than just 3 people per guild.
What about also allowing players with 100k+ more CP (make it CP... not fame, since Sim players can get tons of fame) admittance as well. As the very powerful guilds have many more than just 3 people with the knowledge/experience to make good contributions to the game... more so than the 3 people of some of the lower-end "top" guilds.
I say "in addition to" the 3 from each guild so as to avoid squeezing them out.
I guess I'm kind of going for a senate + house of representatives approach for this.
If EVERYONE with 100k+ (again, arbitrary number, make it whatever you like) is 'too many' you can go with 'top 10' CP earners on either side not already selected by their guild or whatever.

| The problem with that Bonezz, is you end up having entire guilds having the majority of the council slots, due to the power houses in the game. | |

| If this is about game development, then by all means it should be about the most active players and not leaders or guilds at all. I like bonez idea. | |

| I thought about the same... Giving the same limit Fallen/UL/CKs and to some dead or noobish guilds (some of those having like 10 members, compared to 160...). Sure it's easy to say 'top 2 pages'. Why not 3 people for top guilds and 1-2 for lower ones or something, a scaling down, or 5-3..? And some additional spots for good cp earners from any guild can be a good idea.
Surely it's more 'fair' to give the same rights to the same guilds (as xviper said), but if council is supposed to have discussions about game, suggestions or whatever, it's better to choose the people who actually know the game well, not just being a leader with 500 fame... Also good players tend to get to the top guilds anyway (some exceptions like Faer's guild on 2nd page..) and at least I don't see a problem with that.
The more people there are, the more chaotic.. And some guilds will participate way more than the rest anyway. I hope Joyce won't turn it into a colourful silly forum :S

| This has gone way out of hand with people assuming things...
Obviously we cannot communicate our intended changes and ask for suggestions in specific areas by talking to every single player in Battle Conquest.
Since Guilds represent smaller social groups with some kind of an organization, we believe it is much easier to discuss with representatives of those Guilds who could communicate easier and much more efficient information to their members than we could ever do.
That does not mean that the Suggestions forum will become obsolete or that the rest of the players are less important to this game.
This is not a matter of 30-40 people discussing about the future of Battle Conquest and leaving the rest behind.
The High Council forum is merely a tool used to facilitate this communication.

This is what happens to vague statements, people make assumptions. Overall, a good post about what High Counsil will not be. Its purpose, however, stays a bit obscure to me. Spread info from forum to guilds? I'm sure all major guilds have people who read forum frequently, even write stuff here

Info coming from the people, through the Guilds... Not everyone is registered in the forums..

| I personally think this is a great idea. I do have a lot of CPs and still play almost every day. However, I am not the most social and with real life stuff (family etc) I dont always keep up with topics, events etc.
I have now passed 400K Cps, but to be honest most of the info I get is from Fyrr (occasionally Nathor and use to be Yan).
My point in this is while CP is a great indicator, I think the original intent of those active guild members (I believe 3) is fair. I think there could be a total of 84 (28 guilds x 3) people who have access to the high council and I doubt all would be active.
Lastly, I appreciate all the work Fyrr does, so I think it is only right that those who take the time to lead a guild (or at least very active in a guild) - should be rewarded with honor of being in this council. They can still be our voice for those of us who are not as active.
Anyway, just my thought. Happy gaming and thank you for this game as I look forward to playing for quite some time (just wish there was more than 24 hours a day sometimes). Thank you.

Nice idea, but the experienced players should have (also) an vote on it. 28x3 player from the top guilds are important, but who really plays this game (over months)? Maybe you can review this.
