Cave Giant + Crush?

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that the level 1 Cave Giant I was just facing on Normal had the Crush ability.

I believe this is meant to be obtained at level 3?

I might be entirely wrong, but it did seem to be squishing potentially more of my level 6 units than I expected for a level 1.

i always attack level 1 giants without fear... the crush action is visible when released.

I now feel 'lucky' I haven't yet experienced the full power of the Cave Giants 'crush'.
I am now positively petrified of a level 3+ Giant >_>
