PVP Tiers imporant

So the main focus of pvp tiers was so full gl armies couldn't massacre everyone else without gl's. I still think more needs to be done. Now let's say I bring some rares and Uncommon equips into tier 3. 50-150 ap of gear. That's enough space for 1-2 good gl's and a few crappy ones. Then on to tier4. That is where you can face a full gl HI and a bunch of naked enemies. Now I hope you understand when I say full gl HI there is no chance of beating it without your own gl's. I would say only skellies could do that and they would have to bring a lot of numbers and rear the gl and make it flee. But by the time they can deal with the naked units their HI is decimated and the gl HI is moving onto the next troops. My solution is a gl's or no gl's type of deal. Now a full epic HI won't be easy to beat but it is possible. Much more possible than beating a full gl HI.

Not necessarily true, depending on how a player plays tactically.

Yes I can see your point that it seems rearing would help and it does but even so gl's are just that powerful. I try to rear and 80% of the time the gl HI kills so many of my units so fast that their morale skyrockets back to normal.

Actually Rune you say it is tactics. So I would like to see you try and face a gl HI with your tactics. I volunteer my units. You can send them after Dakota's or Net's gl HI. Let's see how tactics work then. I don't mind the heal cost on my units either. Evil or Very Mad

Result was the same when we played in tier 1 without any equipement Scaren...

Scaren, I never said that items do not play a role in the battle. You cannot have all things absolutely equal in a battle. We cannot punish people for having GL items, however having GL items doesn't mean that you are invincible.

Well Rune like I said if you think GL items don't make you invicible. I would like you to try using a full gl army against a non gl army. Then use a non gl army against a gl army. And Nethack we used artillery in our naked matches plus I did terrible in our first tier 1 while my artillery did barely any damage in our second match I couldn't touch your HI with artillery. Fyrr told me how you let him pelt your HI with artillery and only brought it down by either two HP or all the way down to two HP this plus your movement already plus your gl banner for movement. Ah well i'm not looking to get into a race war with you. We both know that will be never ending between us.

Edit: although i'm curious on your thoughts about this Net since the max movement can go on a banner is +4 how about they make movement for you 13/14 it would at least make it possible for other players to match your HI speed but as it stands now all you need is +2 movement to still beat other players in movement.

You cannot match against a full GL army Scaren. The AP won't allow it.

well sorry I meant a full gl HI let's say in tier4. Still though I would like you to try it. Just to see the plight of people without gl's. I still volunteer my army against Dak or Net or Faer or someone with gl's. I'm just saying I think it would help us and open your eyes a bit more if you faced someone with gl's. If you do please put the link to the video up here. Like I said use my army. They don't mind being killed.

Nethack you have crafted a lot of epics and godlikes. Much more than me so while my epics aren't bad they are mostly +11. If you don't believe me I can show you some screen shots of the gear. All i'm saying is Net I don't see how I can ever beat you in any tier. Yan has told me that with his gl's he still loses mostly to other gl players such as dakota. If the best orc in the game doesn't have much hope with pvping with gl's what chance do I have. And besides if we did do a pvp naked tier without artillery I could bet you would still win. You know actually today let's do a 1v1. We can do one unit at a time. My guess is you win 100% of the 1v1 battles

Like I told you in match and like Runeslayer told you on this forum... try to shoot light infantry with your artillery. You will notice a great difference. Also misfire happens.

It was a full GL hi capped in many stats vs a arti that was not high level. Not at all the same you face with your artillery... the one you faced was naked. Shoot at light infantry godamnit when will you understand. I can't damage your HI either with canons unless extremly lucky. It's normal. You deal with powerful HI by stalling them with your own and rearing / surrounding it.

As long as they made your other units 13 base speed too and your cav 17... No seriously, slap a +4 on your HI if you want more speed. Your army move way faster anyway.

True is, I think there is some really big flaws in your tactics like moving naked light infantry in a big pack in front of a canon instead of spreading like I tried to told you and that needs to be fixed, IMO, before asking for game change. Another change you should do is shooting at light infantry with your arti and blocking the hi with your melee instead of shooting at HI and letting all the light troops surrounds you.

And btw Kuba's HI kill mine. Faer's can too (depends what he does). And dakota probably destroy it without a sweat. Fyrr's HI, I have the advantage one on one but his can have the upper hand (depends on the rolls too).

Now a non-capped vs a capped one, yeah it will loose badly. Also a single GL unit is tier 4 minimum (if the rest of the army is 100% naked), so fight in tier 3 ? Idk...

Overall I agree orcs are among the weakest in the game. But honestly, all your defeats are not because of that.

If you wanna do a test, I take your orcs, you take my dwarfs. We go naked, high AP and I think I can still beat you.

Also we somewhat did the units testing thing alreday. Your cav destroys mine and your archers too. Melee, it depends especially light (does the LI skill activate or not ?).

hehe funny I think if I took your dwarves against my orcs I could win XD but yeah I have to say I don't remember us doing a naked test before. At least if we did do a naked test we didn't include cav. Would like to do one today though
