Black screen after Battle.

Did a Quest for Defend a Region. After battle, clicked close as it appeared. Instead of returning to city, was shown a black screen.

Might be a glitch on my side (with the funny internet problems and all going on due to heavy rains), but thought it better to report.

That happens to me too sometimes and some times it is my Internet being screwy so I restart it Smile

Hey guys,

I've been looking into the bug. Seems that even if the connection was lost BC will try to reconnect (if there is connection to the Internet that is).

Have you noticed a pattern on these after-battle black screens? Or a hint that'll help me? Or have you just lost connection to the Internet so it's logical to happen?

Something similar happened to me a few times. Totally randomly, like after a routine solo battle... I win, click close... And the black screen, as map doesn't load (and maybe cps getting lost?...). So maybe issue with map/cp animation failing to load?..
My internet is always stable so that's not an issue, especially since it never happens outside of the battle ->map (at least for me).

I had exactly the same happen to me today. Was after a solo battle. The victory screen came up and the army screen but when I clicked to leave the summary, instead of getting the map with the associated animations, I just got a black screen. There was no problem with the connection because I was able to come out of full screen mode and participate in Kong chat but despite waiting a minute or so, the black screen remained. The only cure was a reconnect. I'm not sure if my CPs were lost but I think maybe not.

Gorlak, I think we know what happened in your case. It took us a lot of time to identify the problem, but in the end we prevailed... Seems like there is a new hot spot in the city and all the units are going there after a battle... We managed to take a video to prove it to you..

Well THAT explains a lot. No wonder I can never get my demons to respond without clicking loads of times... they're clearly under the influence of some kind of narcotics

With how many units are you going to battle when this is happening? 6, 7, 8 ?

for me it was 8. 2xLI, 2xLIA, 1xHI, 2xcav and 1xarty. Solo on hard mode. But it's only ever happen to me once or twice. Certainly not a common problem.
