Question about Recuited Units from Guild warfare

Hi devs its me again.  I have a couple questions about the new units you can recruit from holding regions in guild warfare.  After a region is captured and you are able to recruit the unit associated within that region what happens to that unit once you recruit and train it then your guild loses control over that region?  Does the unit become inactive / do you lose it all together / or since you already own it do you get to keep using that unit?

Also can you level the special units?

From the council meeting it stated if you lose a special unit in battle it dies and you can not heal it. Is that still the case?
