Not all players look at the forums and are unaware that there may be a merger on the horizon...and that to migrate may have no point other than to take away whatever progress they have made.
As such, perhaps the ability to migrate should be disabled, at least until we know what is going to happen regarding a merger.

This just happened to Comitatus from our guild.
He didn't talk to many people before deciding to move over, and he just lost all his progress for really no purpose.
