GL Weapon that was turned to 0/0 after reforging...

Via the request of another player, I reforged a GodLike Weapon using Gems (35 gems). It was at 3/3 durability when I reforged it, and when I checked, it was at 0/0. Not sure what I should do now, I could reforge it again but that's really an irritating waste of gems.

I'd like to confirm this bug, as it has also just happened to me.

I reforged two GL weapons.
1 went through ok, and the other turned into a 0/0.

You will find this in my inventory.


I am going to reforge it again, but would like the 35 gems back from the failed attempt please.

Ok, so on further realisation, the OTHER item that I 'reforged' with Gems, is NOT ok.

It turned from a 3/3 into a 2/2.

It seems reforging with gems, actually just reduces the overall durability by 1.

Hot-fix incoming please!! (and 105 gems returned for me now)

Certainly not denying this happened to you, XViper ...

... just wanted to add ...  That doesn't *always* happen ... I reforged a godlike artifact with 0/0 durability using gems (that was very very slow to repair on Olympus .... 8+ hours with good durability) ...  It reforged perfectly well, into a new godlike artifact that repaired in about 2+ hours.

So:

• Reforging with gems works, sometimes (and reduces repair time);
  
• For XViper, et al., does not work sometimes.
  

In 30 minutes I'll be able to confirm whether my 3rd attempt (reforging the 0/0 that I got from the 1/1) actually works as it did for you Pearl.

Yeah I just went ahead and reforged. I'll check if anything changes, but i would love the gems i spent that didn't do anything back

Reforging it from 0/0 appears to have worked ok.

It seems reforging from higher than this does not reforge the item properly.(at all)

I will look into this issue and report back.

I reforged the GodLike for the second time from 0/0, it worked this time. If possible, could I pretty please get my gems back?

TBH, It's only fair that everyone with mentioned bug gets their gems back, after all everyone got their items reforged to full durability even the non paying users. Why should they waste their gems on nothing? After all they paid for it.

Unless there is a way the devs can check who got this bug then people could be lying about it happening to them.

Honestly not worth complaining about.

Sure, everyone benefited from us discovering the bug, so we just paid a little more than everyone else. Everyone still comes out on top though.

If you actually consider the sheer amount of resources the dev just saved everyone, you'd be looking at over 10,000,000 in repairs across all items over all players. Maybe even 10 times that. Even items in vaults got reforged to max.

To be fair Taters, we decided to repair and reforge ALL the items because of this bug, otherwise we could have just said that the changes will be applied when you reforge an item. It wasn't an easy thing to reforge thousands and thousands of items in DB, but we love our Community and it was just one more way we could show that we love you guys...

If for any reason, the Community believes that we have treated them unfair by not giving back the 35 or 100 Gems per player lost in reforges, when we repaired/reforged items worth of many thousands of Gems, then we could revert the change, bring the items in their previous state, refund the 5-6 players who experienced this problem and have the change of the gold repair cost and the 1.5 durability increase be applied when a player reforges an item.
