Rerolling artillery improves all statistics

Not a bug.

Although artillery has its own hidden STR, the STR shown is for melee purposes and it indicates the STR of the crew protecting the artillery.

Why are there 'hidden' stats by the way?

What is the point? It just makes things unclear for the players.

Edit: Additionally, there is a thread in Hints & Tips that claims that bonuses to the visible Strength stat also affects missile strength (for archers). Is this true? and if so, does this also apply to Artillery?

Now that I have an account, I am going to bump and comment on this. Bug or not, it's a bad idea. Endurance and Missle are the only stats that improve when you level up, and they are the only stats you would ever want. If a reroll changes all the stats, you are GUARANTEED that a reroll will make your artillery worse, not better. So why would anyone want to reroll it?

Is this still how rerolls(you spread the stat increase out over str,missile,endu and morale) work for artillery?

If it is, and its not considered a bug, what about looking at it as a very bad idea?
I certainly wont reroll any of my artillery while the chance of getting a significantly worse unit than i had before a reroll is this big.

We only get missile/endurance increases when artillery gain a level, so i see no reason that a reroll should increase all other stats.

Please consider doing something about this=)
