| I think this was mentioned a another thread which I can't find now but can we please have regional improvements (supplies, walls and bonuses) remain after conquest? I believe Runeslayer mentioned that the reasoning for resetting all improvements is that it would be logical for the defending guild/faction to raze everything before they lose the region so the attacker can't have it. However, this can already be done by the defender voluntarily. If a guild thinks that they are going to lose a region, they can downgrade their improvements so as to not only keep them out of enemy hands but also to recover some resources. There is no need for everything to be reset automatically.
On the other hand, by given guilds the option to let the improvements remain, it will allow for more possibilities such as the voluntary exchanging of regions and agreements (and breaches thereof) to always preserve improvements (presumably leading to more guild wars which the devs seem to favor).

Considering the enormous amount of resources put into upgrades, it makes sense to not have them entirely vanish when the hex is taken. I have to disagree.
Throughout history, when the enemy was about to conquer a region, the defenders would completely destroy the infrastructure in order to not help the enemy in the war effort. Only in rare cases, when the defenders were caught by surprise would the attackers capture the region unharmed.

+1!
Great idea, when voluntary. |

Yes, yes, they do seem to favor them ... I'll write more of that in another post (rather than hijack this thread) |
I'd like the default option be, all improvements go *poof* as they currently do (though automatic return of half the resources would be nice!). Maybe a simple option the guild leader or vice-leader can select: When a region is to transferred to control of an allied guild (due to the allied guild being the most influential guild at the end of a cycle):
- Remove improvments
- Transfer Improvements to the ally.
I don't believe it would be appropriate to transfer improvements between dark & light -- and should therefore be limited only between allied guilds of the same faction.
