Undead needed another boost?

I would be curious to hear why the dark faction race generally considered to be the strongest needed another buff.

that is actually supposed to be a nerf or debuff. Now I don't think it goes far enough. Or they could just tinker around and buff all the other races to match the Undead's power. Either way I hope they do more than just add 5 ap to the Undead armies. It may just be a stalling in time until they have more time to work on the balancing of the races. Now we can't all expect to have the best units and we will have to work towards our strengths. But I do feel like a Undead player who used only LI and HI in any tier or ap could really just destroy.

Higher AP is not a buff, it makes it harder to bring more units into a battle, so be happy undead will be 5% easier for you to beat in PvP now.

You're right. I don't know why I took AP to mean armor.

Yes, the change is largely inconsequential.
