Can we get an expected date?

I don't mean an expected date that's just going to come, go... and go... and go... and....?

I mean a date that you -ACTUALLY- expect to be done with it?

Pretty much quit the game waiting for updates that never come.

Again, I don't care if you say "a month" as long as its ACTUALLY a month.

April 25th, game comes onto Kongregate (only a very few weeks before I joined).
June (I believe, it's actually been a while xD) LIA's are released to every race.
June/July special territs shown on map for guild wars and guild wars tier 1 is released.

That's pretty good for only a few months. This is only August, 4 months since launch on Kong, I know many games that fall or do not reach this checkpoint in that span time. This is not even counting the countless bug fixes, balancing, releasing it on other things (I heard it was advertised on Steam as well). All of this in a few months.

Want to know when layer two will be released? By Halloween. Stay till then and I can almost bet the devs will have it out by then. Sometime in September if we're lucky Wink

I hope in future, they make some battles with castle's siege. And archers can go to those towers and shoot enemys from them.

Hi all,

I just returned from GDC/GamesCom and I am slowly going through all the PMs (waaaaay too many) and the Forum posts. I was away for a week, so I didn't have immediate access to all BC related issues, but the rest of the team did.

GW 2 is definitely not fiction. Smile We were supposed to introduce the new units last Friday as AI enemy units, so you can get an idea of what you will be very soon be able to recruit and use in your armies. (I just saw them in the battlefield and I can assure you they are "DELICIOUS"!) However, problems with black screens and login issues that several players had, delayed the launch. We believe we have solved the black screens issue and we are still looking into the login issue for some players.

I know promised my "Elf friend" that GW2 is coming this week, but it is almost impossible to do so, so I hope he wlll forgive me. Smile I can guarantee you though, that the new units will be introduced next week for sure and it is quite possible to have the GW2 by next week Friday.

After that, we will start developing and adding features from the BC ToDo List .

We know that the implementation of GW 2 has been taken way too longer than it should have, but rest assured that we are trying to do our best to balance between debugging, development, integration of the game in other portals (in order to attract more players) and other stuff.

When people ask me about these two things in game chat I am going to quote you on this one Wink. No pressure but I do hope that this is the case, some lighties are getting a bit edgy with the bonuses not giving anything yet.

Since I've been playing I'd been told that GW2 is coming out 'soon'

Yet, week after week, other changes come out that people DON"T EVEN WANT, or would be very willing to wait for until after GW

Changes to hero AP cost; changes to minimum buyout price of auction listings; PvP Tiers;increasing the level cap to 15;increasing the difficulty of hard/nightmare (right before an influx of newbies too BTW); changing the repair algorithm; nerfing epic and godlike items

I'm not saying these are changes that shouldn't be implemented, just that you could've waited until after the GW changes that everyone's anxious about.

1) Hero AP cost... it was important, but perhaps too much even. it could have waited longer.
2) Minimum buyout price... was because a set of "players" were supposedly multiaccounting, and selling their resources for 20 gold per 1k resource. While many of us players willingly set aside our disgust at their cheating to get such awesome deals, this was still something which the devs were concerned about. Probably couldn't wait. But I'm still disgruntled- there should be a "private" sale option, where you can even gift items. (and not through a guild, either.)
3)PvP Tiers... are bulky, difficult, and yet quite an improvement over the old system, and all the PvPers (darkies mostly) wanted them, due to a lack of light-side PvPers.
4)increasing the difficulty... could have waited, so far as I'm concerned.
5) changing the repair algorithm... was VITAL. And, it worked wonders, while I'm still spending more than I want to on repairs (I would like free repairs if I could get them) I'm spending sufficiently little to repair things, that I actually have a gold income from battles, something which WASN'T happening, even with tiny losses. It was a shame, cause I was being forced to run naked or uncommons in order to even make a profit at all.
6) [TL; DR] Should not have happened EVER.

the nerf... ugh. WHAT WAS WITH THAT? They're already super-rare, why would you nerf them? I mean, talk about shooting yourself in the foot... If the GLs are a "money bringer" as would be inferred from the near-absolute absence of them in drops... then they simply cannot afford to be nerfed. INSTEAD, the player-base wasn't asking for them to be nerfed, but rather for a person to reliably see a GL frag drop at least occasionally when playing for a couple of hours daily... (say, reliable drops in something close to every 10k CPs worth of coops... 1-3k CPs worth of PvPs) and come on, that's not even common- if you have 4 types of frags, and a minimum of 3 frags per item, then it's still possible to go for as long as 3 months without being able to forge a single GL... (based on that CP ratio, I'm only assuming that a major player like Dakota would have been capable of getting about 10-12 frags (depending on his play mix it could be quite higher), less than enough to actually make a difference in his collection, (remember the changing value of GLs) more than enough to make it worth getting them)
