Crafting items

Quick question: Does anyone know if it makes a difference in the (maximum) quality of items if you craft either:
3 uncommon fragments
1 uncommon and 2 common fragments and roll an uncommon item.

Don't think it does. You can still can the best values in that tier group even if you did not use all fragments of the same type.
