| With only 9 repair slots, I can't even keep up with the rate that my units use equipment throughout the day. I understand that this is part of the game and I would not want to change this. A player should learn to use their equipment in a sustainable way.
The problem as I see it is this mechanic makes heroes not worth equipping at all. If I try to equip both my units and my heroes I am quickly left with a sea of broken items. Since unit equipment seems to have a far bigger impact than hero equipment, this means that my heroes run naked in most of my battles.
I think that this is a tremendous waste. As it stands you can spend 3 fragments to equip an entire squad of light infantry with weapons, or you can spend 5 fragments to equip a single hero with a single weapon. I think it would make sense for that weapon to be something better than what you give to every single one of your generic infantry units.
I'd like to hear the community's thoughts on unbreakable hero equipment. | |

| I voted yes but for a different reason. It's no secret that hero gear is much more expensive than all other gear. If they made the hero gear unbreakable then players wouldn't have to spend gold on repairs. But I think this gold issue is a serious problem. They need to either raise gold drop from battles or lower gold prices on everything including repair,crafting,buildings,technology. | |

| Voted no because I think just giving them unbreakable weapons is going too far. I would suggest either lowering gold cost to repair (as I understand it, a 'weapon' equips every unit in a unit, so at least 16x more actual physical weapons required compared to 1 for a hero..) a hero's equipment or increasing the durability on it compared to a similar item for a unit. As it stands my hero's run mostly naked most of the time (mostly...) because I need my slots for unit items. | |

| Not unbreakable, but an increase in item durability (especially considering the extra frags they require) would be a more reasonable suggestion.
Dev's have made 'unbreakable' items highly coveted Aether rewards, they aren't about to undermine that by giving every hero weapon the same thing. | |

Hmmm... Well, banners definitely won't be possible unless they add a hero banner slot. Also, how would anything with +Movement work on a hero, increase the unit speed (I vote to decrease the hero reaction speed) to which the hero is assigned? Without looking at the items right now, I also think the AP for the items would be too high if equipped to a hero. Finally, a hero takes longer to level than a given unit, so for those level 15 restrictions the wait might require an entire bag of snickers bars. | |

| All valid points I completely didn't take into account. In which case you're assumption that Aether items are non-hero is probably correct | |

| Aether items would not be in danger of losing their place, as all units would still benefit from them. I think the overwhelming majority of players would rather put an unbreakable aether item on a squad of units than on a single hero.
That is assuming that people can even get them. Bonuses to players for starting on a losing faction and light/dark armies seem specifically designed to cause a stalemate. Most players will probably never see an unbreakable aether item.

| also remember that ather item got lowered ap so it will be still batter than eny crafted item | |
