| The playerbase is concerned about the barriers put in place to prevent any faction to win. We have faced yet another definition issue between what players understand under "stalemate" and what devs understand. Despite being superior or stronger the tug-o-war never ends because capital armies, cp ballance, capital defence ...
A simple poll should help devs to understand how long players would like a game cycle to last. You have only one choice.

| I voted for 4 months myself.
Map reset 3 times a year sounds about right to me for balanced gameplay without making it mentioned above stalemate.
(Keep in mind, that it does not equal maxing out your units/buildings/research, especially Olympus wise, I'm talking about map progress alone.)

A simple poll should help devs to understand how long players would like a game cycle to last. You have only one choice. In my opinion I think it should be possible to win/lose starting at 2 months (a chance above 1%). After that, perhaps between 2 and 4 months, the constraints that prevent the game to end should be increasingly reduced (e.g. container sizes, Light/Dark Army spawn, Conquest Point Bonus and Faction selection incentives, etc.). After that period these mechanisms could be altogether removed, along with the the coop/solo constraints for attacks on Capital and adjacent hexes. The game cycle would end, at most, at 5 months. In summation: 2 month hard floor, 5 month hard ceiling...most game cycles end between 3 and 4 months.

| The voting is done. As a reminder and info that hopefully helps the devs to decide whether and when to speed up capital takedown process. | |
