Disclaimer: this is a mobile phone post since my pc just crashed.
In short words: the requirements set for the tutorials first battle are too high. New players are unable to commence into their first battle, due to 5 units being required.
The catch is, it appears to be a problem for dark legion, but not the dwarves. Other races remain untested, but several people have tried it and all resulted in the same: stuck on the tutorial with fark legion, trying to get into erevos.

It is happening on Erevos and Olympus. The player Wave is referring to was having the problem on Erevos...the link above is of another player trying to migrate to Olympus and unable to get past the tutorial...again, on the Dark side.
He originally had the problem on Erevos, but was able to get around it by going Light side. He then migrated and chose Dark path and encountered the issue in the tutorial yet again.

Nope, not at all.
I don't know how they did it, but it was definitely a Lightie... No, too obvious...it was the Devs, they have chosen a side...and chosen wrongly! ...meh, it was probably Bobba.
