Are battles slower?

I recall seeing something about slightly reducing the speed of battles.

However does this mean the fast-forwarded speed is also slower?
It FEELS slower, and I do not like.....

How much slower is it exactly?

and is there perhaps the option of implementing a third 3x fast forward option?

I'm okay with the base speed, but I agree, the new fast forward speed feels too slow. I like the idea of having two seperate fast forward options, though I'm still hoping fast forward can be implemented into co-ops some time (by consensus of all the players in the coop match to activate).

I find it a bit dragging as well. I'm doing most of my battle with fast forward on constantly now and it's still feels slow.

Yes, it is slower.
No info about it in the Update from yesterday, but it was announced in HC.

Would be nice, when it would be turned back to the speed before or even faster, as already wished several times. (E.g.: http://www.battleconforum.com/t1471-speed-up-coop)

The battles do seem to be much slower

The battle tick has not been changed. The speed of the speed-up in battle has been decreased by 100 milliseconds.

I guess any player who has been doing 10 unit battles feels that battles are now rather slow. Especially when the AI is running slightly faster then oneself through the hole map.

100 milliseconds sounds like nothing, but its strange it feels so significant.

Was there a reason the FF was slowed at all?

Yes, mostly performance related, but also gameplay wise. More time for tactics, less arcade feeling. In fact, we wanted to slow down the whole battle. We will see.

The feeling is like it is slowed down by 20% (Normal battle and speed up).

I find when i speed up i want everything be over in 5 seconds, like a proper speedup we had before. Now it feels very draggy.
How fast is a battle tick? 0.1s per tick that feel like half eternity seems odd.

By 100 miliseconds from what? %values speak best.
Did it go down from 1000 to 900 or from 500 to 400. Or am i blind and dont see something here...
