Error in first solo battle each day

Facts: I played about 15 games on December 13th, 2013 from 08:00:00 EDT to 10:45:00 EDT with no problem & then went away for an hour an a half; Firefox browser was up Came back about December 13th, 2013, 12:30:00 EDT, and brower still up & open Talked to guild a bit, looked at inventory, etc. Then started the game above; First game after the two hour break (browser up whole time) showed the above problem. Just a pwretty picture after all of the above ugly ogres ... the bug report needs balance!

Thank you for the information Joyce. We've done 2 patches today which I expected to give me some more information about the bug. Indeed I've gotten my information and I narrowed it down a bit (done a change or two also), but it seems it's still present, although with the result of an interactive battle.

The time of your bug reports indicate that this was the result after the 1st patch, as the second was done a few minutes later. If you have any more incidents please report them.

This would mean I might NOT have had the first patch -- correct? (since I had not updated for about 4 or 5 hours before the battle, and thus had a 4 to 5 hour old copy in the cache).

I doubt that. I don't recall the time of the 1st patch but the change of the behavior of the bug in your case leads me to believe that it was applied.
