| Say you put an item on the market for: - 1000 bid
- 2000 buyout
And someone bids 1800 on it. A 'Sell Now' button would do an instant sale of 1,800 and not have to wait the extra hours until the sale ended. 3 day poll

| I like the idea being incorporated into the auction as it is now, 4 days could be quite a long while to wait for 0 increase in gold, or a nominal one.
On the other hand, I wish that there were another category in the auction for premium items (epics and GLs). In that section the auction could more closely resemble an actual auction.
Say I am selling a GL item, I set the starting price at 100,000 and the minimum incremental increase of 5,000 (both the increments and starting price are determined by the individual auctioning the item/frag). The item will be listed for 24 hours, if during the final 3 hours a qualifying bid is made, the time on the auction resets to 3 hours and will continue to do so as long as a qualifying bid is made or the individual auctioning the item accepts a bid.

| Sounds like a lot of possible waiting time to me, Ysosad. Would it really be necessary to implement a ''reset of time'''-feature in the market? Why not let time run out, highest bidder takes it all? | |

because everyone watches and waits till a few seconds are left to throw up a bid. a 4 day auction may see 0 bids for 3days23hours.

The time I listed was arbitrary, it could be more or less. The goal is for the seller to receive a value closer to the "true" value of the item. I think a good deal of individuals with high value items would prefer waiting longer if it yields a higher return...but they could sell it the traditional way if they so choose.

| I think best thing would be if no one bids on an item for some period of time then the item is sold to the highest bidder. As in "going once...going twice..." type of thing. That is of course if no buyout price is set. I could be wrong but I don't think auctions work like Joyce is suggesting. It could be a little easier on the players but seriously people that's what the buyout price is for and if nothing else there is the trade chat to haggle and stuff. You can also pm each other and decide on a price. Some interaction never hurt anyone absolutely no need to have a system for every single thing. If you don't want to wait for a long time to sell something then lower the buyout price. That's how things work. | |

This option plan would honestly be abused. If I saw someone put a gl armor frag up on auction for bid with no buyout, then i would bid 20 gold. If what you are saying was how the auction house worked, then I could I get the fragment for 20 gold if no one bidded on it for X amount of time. The reason why people put no buyout on an item is because they want to wait til the last minute for people to bid on it.

| It's exactly how it is right now. People bid on items only at the last seconds. Make a reasonable starting price and you'll be fine. | |
