Hello I been playing Battle conquest for about a week now and love so far. But I notice one thing already, and that is the fact current set-up battle can get pretty stale quick with only one type of map and same basic rules for each battle. But this suppose to be a war and in war all sort of things can happen and they can happen almost anywhere. So how about some random events and mission happening while we're playing.

MAP TYPES
While I think there been mentioning of new map types to play on, here some suggestions I have to help you along in deciding what add.

CITIES/TOWNS- Urban warfare is something I think something we all want. With small streets and narrow alleys these area should be a heavy infantry commander dream, and an nightmare for archers and cavalry units. There should also some kind square near the center of the map.

MOUNTAINS- This map could be narrow ravines that might open up to become valleys or might end up becoming just another dead end ( maybe in more ways then one Wink ) . hard part of this map should be finding a route towards the enemy.

FORESTS- It a woodland, Expect a lot of trees and narrow paths. Good for melee infantry commander, not good for range or cavalry.

SWAMPS/MARSHLAND- If you think you can do it how about terrain that actually slow downs certain (Cough) Heavy units ( cough) but will allow other units maximum speed, such as LI infantry and archers. If you can do this map type should have a good amount of it. If not then just forget about.

DESERTS- Wide open map with sun blaring down on your troops and sand to messed up heavy infantry footing. It going to be everybody Favorite Map. Twisted Evil Should favor cavalry(?), LI infantry, and archers.

PLAINS- It's a combo between the dessert and favorite little field. Range units and Cavalry should reign supreme on these maps.

DANGEROUS LANDSCAPE- as if the enemy wasn't enough, now the land is trying to killed you. These things should include Quicksand, rock slides, pits, and whatever else the devs can come up with.

FOG OF WAR- I actually recommend two variants of this classic theme.

MIST- A deep mist has descended on the battlefield and now you got to find the enemy, before they find you would be preferable. This actually will be a random event that can happen on any map( except the desert). As your units get close to something you first see a shadow. as get closer you be able to make out more details.
The same thing works for enemy units, so usually you won't any Ideal that your attacking a archers unit or a heavy units until you get pretty darn close. A matter of fact shouldn't even be able to tell if it a ally or enemy until get close. So be careful using range units to attacked that unknown units, you might be hitting your own.

WILDFIRE- Seems like pyromancer has really let loose with fireballs, and sadly where there fire there smoke. This Variant will use smoke to block your guys vision and you get. But lucky after you get pass it you should be able seen everything right until the next thing of heavy smoke. But this Fog is also dangerous, with fire spreading that might roast your troops. And if your men are caught in some smoke their going have some problems, with coughing and smoke getting in their eyes, it also might lead to some guys dropping dead if they stay in too long.
Possible in Cities, Forests, The field, and grassland. not possible in mountains and deserts, and only certain parts of Swamp will burn.

Random Mission, Jobs, Events- It easily to just kill some enemies, but what happens will throw in objectives and random game setups.something like the name flashing by should tell you when your in this game mode.

AMBUSH- Enemy raiders are attacking your column, can you fight them off and show them that they have made a horrible mistake. only available in PVE and CO-OP

HOLD THE LINE- A huge enemy force is attacking our line. Your job is to hold them until help arrives. Enemy units will keep coming until the timer runs out. your men shall get a boost in stats to help overcome the challenge. Only happens in PVE and CO-OP

TO THE LAST MAN-Your forces has been surrounded. High command is sending reinforcements, but you got to hold out.
a variant of Hold The Line. Instead of the enemy coming from just the top part of the map, they becoming from all around. With you in the center. Also you get greater boost in stats.( your men are fighting for their lives.)

E VAC/HUNTER - one side must killed a spy while the other job is to find him and get him out safe. some sort of fog of war should always be employed on this mission type. Available in all Modes.

ESCORT- The mission sounds simple. protect a messenger while he moves through your sector and go home to your favorite Tavern. Except what he carrying is wanted really bad by the enemy and they plan on taking it no matter what. Enemies units will be invisible until one of your units approaches them. PVE AND CO-OP

right now this is all I have, sorry for the long post.
Edit random event
Forgot to add this one

Chaos of war- I don't what happen sir, but our forces and the enemies are spread all over the area. In this one, everbody forces are spread put in random spots on the map. but if really want chaos add a fog of war too, then watch what happens.

Really cool ideas.

Different map types and battle types have been suggested before, but those would all add a lot of fun to the game. Some are probably relatively easy to do too.

Cant wait until they deploy their UserVoice so I can upvote ideas like this.

Some of these would seem to require fog to be effective, and anything thats tight quarters will need better path finding since units still have trouble getting around some things. I'd like to see an UNDERGROUND map, home turf advantage >: D

As for some of these, they'd require fundamental game changes. Like the mist is a random event in a current game, naturally you start off on opposite ends of each other so you know where your enemy is coming from, plus how would the AI behave in the mist ? Probably unaffected, making it harder for players. Random difficulty modifiers would be cool though. Like once the PvE/Co-op game loads, it'll alert you that something i different, and maybe you'll be fighting a much larger army than usual, or some kind of boss monster joins the enemy. Bonus loot !

Neutral map objectives are one i like.

These are pretty good points, but first one is actually easy to answer. The whole point of the mist is to make so you can't see the map and enemies, and knowing what direction the enemy is coming from and what route their taking are two different things. so could still add some new things. as for AI I guess the dev should seen if they can program it to be affect by the fog. these some major things that I'm suggesting and if implemented will have some problem that first. but I think the devs are up to the task.

Most PvE matches are a matter of hiding behind an object and letting the enemy come to you, the mist would only make it harder to spot archers, but going behind cover will lure them to you. Assuming the AI isnt blind though, the archers would also need to reveal themselves when they attack just to be fair.

I'd like to kind of see a 'defend the X' random thing, like in a co-op game, a Lord or something spawns on your side and you have to make sure he survives the battle. Everyone LOOOVES escort quests Wink it'd be funny to see everyone work together to meat shield him for a set amount of time. Small random elements can really stir up the tedium.

I actually I recommended something like that in my post. but yours is just different it could be a different mission. of course, that lord would need to have some good fighting skills and health. otherwise the enemy will just try to pummel them with archers.

Some new mission types I just came up with.

Defend the Inspector- Command has sent someone to inspect the troops. Too bad the enemy had come visit at about the same time. and sir, as must as you want the inspector to have "accident", we must really make sure he survives. PVE and Coop

High ranking execution- opposite of defend the inspector, kill the enemy official.

Barn Razing- (requires a destructible building) the enemy has just set-up a new supply base, and just wouldn't be neighborly not to go visit, now will it.
simple destroy the enemy supply base before the timer run out ( shorten battle time). PVE,COOP, and PVP.

Protect the supplies- the enemy is coming to destroy the supplies, defend it! Opposite of Barn Razing.

Feed the beast- all armies need supplies, and there reports that a caravan was abandon near our position, so be easy to just go out there and bring back whatever good. I mean I don't think the enemy even knows about it....
each army will have wagons and in the center of the map is a abandon trade caravan. You must have unit either gather the most the supplies ( near the caravan and not fighting), wipe the enemy force, or destroy the enemy wagons to win. certain units should be able to carry more supplies then others, but no unit should be able to carry most the supplies out in one go. PVE, COOP, and PVP.

also on a side note, can we get some roads on the battlefields, they don't have to anything, it just that there not any is all.
