Gold's Gem Cost

level 19 warehouse, level 17 gold smelter

6498 gold = 85 gems
19494 gold = 85 gems**

45486 gold = 181 gems
64980 gold = 259 gems

I talked to Broodzero about this &  here are my numbers:

It used to be, that each high gem purchase, gave you a better value. So it may be intentional the 5% of warehouse is only 100 gold/gem (for Joyce). Note: The other resources are 300 gold/gem (for the top 3) & 171 gold/gem for the bottom one (which is a different proportion between top/bottom for gold (150% better deal) .vs. other ones (75% better deal)).

Addendum: I'll take this opportunity to gratuitously sneak in my previous suggestion: Joyce wrote: Say, once a week, you can buy up to 50% of your warehouse resources at 80% discount (once, or twice, or thrice?) This will achieve the same affect (avoid flooding) .... and be far less likely to feel as punishment to players. Also it will let people who want to support the game with a small amount of money get a reasonable "thank you" back (i.e.: a reasonable number of resources, but not enough to skew the economy) Reward the newbie gem buyers, please.
